The event, billed as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, is considered one of the three most significant motorsports events in the world. The official attendance is not disclosed by Speedway management, but the seating capacity is more than 257,000.
The Allentown Art Festival features about 450 juried exhibitors annually. Nearly every state, as well as Canada and Europe, has been represented. Prize awards for the exhibitors submitting work for formal judging have grown to nearly $20,000 annually.
